Staying with a host family is a great way to practice your English and to find out at first hand what life is like in Ireland. Our families are carefully selected for their friendliness and warmth and genuine desire to make your stay in Ireland a happy and successful one.Accommodation is normally on a full board basis (packed lunch provided for mid-day meal) and you can expect to have another student of a different mother tongue in the family at the same time,in twin room accommodation.
Families provide all meals and will undertake a reasonable amount of personal laundry with the family wash.
Students staying with host families are asked to respect the home and rhythm of life of their hosts, in particular with regard to bedtimes, curfew times and mealtimes.
Another great way to learn English is to combine classes with your favourite activity – for example, we offer English + horse riding courses; English + dance courses;  English + Rugby courses.  The mornings are devoted to classes but in the afternoon you get to practice the sport or activity you enjoy most, through the medium of English.  Classes take place each weekday morning and your chosen activity follows in the afternoon.  A full day tour takes place on Saturday and  a free day on Sunday completes the week.
For larger groups e.g. school groups, who have only a limited time during the school term, the mini-stay (with or without English classes) is a wonderful way to get a flavour of Irish life, see the countryside and still have an opportunity to practice your English.  Your group can choose to spent the entire time in one city and visit that area in-depth, or you can visit up to 3 different cities.  In each one you will stay with host families, and although touring each day in the evenings you have the opportunity to discuss your day with the host family and find out a bit more about day-to-day life in Ireland.
